At the end of the 19th century,  while in northern Europe a young generation of creative architects was developing the Jugendstil,  in France, Italy and Spain their southern colleagues gave rise to the Liberty and Floreal decorative styles.  One of the main representatives of this tradition was the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, whose works still adorn the Catalan capital Barcelona.

Inspired by this tradition, the Spanish company Mosaic Del Sur produces both traditional cement tiles with floreal decorations and also  handmade natural clay tiles called Zelliges as their name is in Northern Africa and Middle Eastern countries from which they originate.  Standard as well as custom designs are available.
