Mosa symbolizes simplicity, minimalist design, and harmony of color tones. Just as important as aesthetic appearance are functionality and environmental considerations.
The Dutch company Royal Mosa has been producing ceramic tiles for over 130 years. Despite its long history, the company has proven its ability to stay ahead of the times, evidenced by winning the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2017 for its groundbreaking collection μ [mu]. Through the careful selection and combination of ceramic pigments, Mosa created a tile that absorbs certain wavelengths of light and reflects others, allowing the visible colors to change continuously throughout the day.
FLOOR TILES
Dutch designers understand the importance of subtle differences between shades of a single color, which is why they offer architects a wide range of tonal variations in the TERRA TONES series. Mosa’s concept is revealed in its core collection, where three series — TERRA, SOLIDS, and QUARTZ — blend into one. Each has its own dynamics and texture, yet they are united by modularity, color palette, and a ceramic look that does not attempt to imitate other materials.
WALL TILES
Mosa’s wall tiles once again draw inspiration from the 1930s and timeless classics with their simple appearance, glossy glazed surface, and functionality. The KHO LIANG IE series from the 1960s, with its geometric patterns, has become a design icon and remains popular to this day. A more contemporary feel is conveyed by the MATT collection and the playful solutions of the MURALS series.
Being a favorite among architects and interior designers in more than 30 countries, Mosa has a rich online gallery of completed projects, offering abundant inspiration and useful ideas.
