The creative minds behind CEA-Design are engineer Natalino Malasorti and his companion Roberta Bertacco. Back in 1984, hydraulic engineer Malasorti decided to put his technical experience to the service of architects, building companies and project develpers by founding a consultancy and expertise company that he named CEA (Center for Alternative Energy). In the choice of this name, 30 years ago, it was already evident the focus and commitment to issues such as environmental sustainability, low energy production cycle and 100% recyclability which define still today the identity of the company.
Since 2007 CEA-Design offers an unique range of stainless steel taps of the highest grade (AISI 316) characterized by an essential, clean and functional design (see i.e. series like NEUTRA, ZIQQ or GIOTTO) which stands out of time as it corresponds to products that are made to last forever.
Incorporating the latest water saving technologies developed and patented by Mr Malasorti, each CEA-Design tap ismanually assembled fitting together a variety of individual parts which are all designed and produced in-house with the best quality components and raw materials (i.e. the hand-shower hoses are made not from common rubber but using Delrin®, a special resin developed by Dupont that combines toughness and fatigue-, wear- and abrasion resistance with a stiffness and strength superior even to metal).
Beside its taps and showers collections, CEA-DESIGN also offers a vast range of bathroom accessories and a high-tech full carbon celing fan (TWO) designed to reduce heating power needs by means of air-layers destratification.
