Viva Ceramica has been undoubtedly one of the most innovative companies of the last decade. Several of its collections have been very succesful but one has made history: the hard-glazed porcelain stoneware tile of the Xilo collection, with their decoration creatively interpreting the fine veins and textures of natural wood.  Among the more recent successes,  serie Statale 9 (the administrative name of the Via Emilia, the ancient roman road that connects Rimini to Milano cutting through the city of Modena around which the ceramic production district is centered) and Nr. 21 offering extremely well made reproduction of concrete surfaces in urban color variations. The latest born serie Acustico 12  reinterprets in a modern design key the terracotta rough clay tiles that have been used in Italy since Roman times.

Among the wall tiles, series such as Gotha, One and DolceAmaro boast striking contrasting colors among base tiles and decors that nevertheless blend seamlessy to create perfectly balanced enviroments. Viva also cooperated with leading international designer Ulf Moritz for the design of the Glam collection.
